Which network should I use to receive WETH?
The one the sender uses. When you withdraw from an exchange, choose the same network in the withdrawal form as the address you give. If they do not match, the funds may not arrive.
Does Locker Protocol Wallet charge a fee to hold or send WETH?
No. Holding costs nothing and a transfer costs only the network fee. The wallet's own fee applies to swaps and bridges made in the extension, at most 0.25%, and it is shown before you sign.
How do I avoid a fake WETH token?
Compare the contract with the one listed here or on the issuer's site. A token that appears in your wallet unasked, calling itself WETH, is often bait for a scam.
Where is the private key that controls my WETH?
On Locker Vault, the offline device, derived from your recovery phrase. The extension on your computer only knows your addresses, so malware there cannot move your WETH.
