Same wallet habits.
No wallet key to steal.
Locker Protocol Wallet behaves like MetaMask on every dApp. The difference is what the extension does not contain: no seed and no wallet key. Every transfer is signed on an offline phone, through a QR code.
What changes for you
No wallet key in the browser
A browser extension can be attacked by malware, a rogue extension or a bad update. Ours holds no wallet key, so nothing in it can withdraw or send your funds.
You see what you sign
The offline phone decodes calldata, token approvals and typed data, and shows the real content before you approve. Blind signing simply cannot happen.
Every dApp keeps working
Standard EIP-1193 and EIP-6963 interfaces: connect buttons detect Locker like they detect MetaMask. Swaps, bridges, mints and signatures work unchanged, on 11 EVM chains.
Free, with no account
Both the extension and the vault are free, with no signup. Swaps and bridges add at most 0.25%, and Hyperliquid orders 0.05%, always shown before you sign.

Where MetaMask is ahead
MetaMask is a trademark of Consensys. This page is an independent comparison, based on the publicly documented behavior of both products.
Where MetaMask genuinely wins
MetaMask has more than a decade of production history, a large security team and a mobile app with an integrated browser. If you trade daily from your phone and accept keys on a connected device, it remains a solid choice. Locker exists for the money you cannot afford to lose: the trade is a few seconds of QR scanning per transaction, in exchange for keys that never touch the internet.

Ten minutes, and your keys leave the internet for good.
Install the extension
Add Locker Protocol Wallet from the store. Your dApps detect it immediately.
Turn an old phone into a vault
Open the vault app on a phone you leave offline, create a fresh wallet there, and print the encrypted paper backup.
Move your funds
Send your assets to the new address. From then on, every transaction is approved on the offline phone, by QR code.
Frequently asked questions
Can I import my MetaMask seed phrase?
You can, but we recommend the opposite: create a fresh wallet on the offline phone and transfer your funds to it. A seed that has ever lived on a connected machine may already be compromised, and keeping it defeats the point of an air gap.
Will my dApps really work?
Yes. The extension exposes the same standard interfaces as MetaMask (EIP-1193, EIP-6963), so dApps list it like any other wallet. Transactions signed from the vault are accepted by DEXes, bridges and exchanges on mainnet.
What if I lose the offline phone?
Your funds are safe. Restore the encrypted paper backup on any other phone with your password. Without both the paper and the password, the phone alone reveals nothing.
How much does it cost?
Nothing. The extension and the vault are free, with no account and no subscription. The project sells an optional pre-configured device for those who prefer dedicated hardware.
