What is a dApp?
A dApp, or decentralized application, is an app, usually a website, whose logic runs in smart contracts on a blockchain. You connect a wallet to it to trade, lend, stake, vote or mint.
Why it matters
Connecting shares your address with the site. It does not give the site access to your funds: every action still needs a signature. The risk lies in what you sign, and in whether the site is the real one.
How Locker Protocol Wallet handles it
Locker Protocol Wallet has been tested against more than 70 live dApps across its chains, among them Jupiter, Osmosis, Lido and SunSwap. You connect as usual, and each signature is approved on the offline Vault.
Questions
Is connecting my wallet to a dApp safe?
Connecting alone moves nothing. Be careful with what you sign afterwards, and remove the sites you no longer use from the wallet's list of connected sites.
Which dApps work with Locker Protocol Wallet?
Our dApp directory lists every site checked against its live version, with the date of the test and the button to pick in the site's menu.
