Today, we are thrilled to announce that Locker Protocol is expanding its suite of decentralized locking services to the newly launched Robinhood Chain. By extending our smart contracts to this network, project developers, liquidity providers, and individuals can now lock and vest tokens with standard-setting security.
Robinhood Chain, an Arbitrum-based EVM Layer-2 network, enables fast, low-cost execution using ETH for gas fees. With this integration, users can seamlessly manage token locks directly on the network with the high assurance that Locker Protocol's audited smart contracts guarantee.
Supporting Native Tokens & stablecoins
Locker Protocol natively supports assets deployed on the Robinhood Chain. This includes:
- WETH (Wrapped Ether) - standard wrapped native token.
- USDG - the primary stablecoin on Robinhood Chain (decimals: 6).
Official Robinhood Stock Tokens Support
One of the most notable features of the Robinhood Chain is the support for tokenized real-world assets. Locker Protocol is proud to announce full compatibility with the official Robinhood Stock Tokens issued by Robinhood Assets (Jersey) Limited.
Our user interface includes a pre-configured verification registry for canonical stock tokens. When looking up, locking, or analyzing these assets, users will see an official Verified status badge. The initial set of supported stock tokens includes:
- AAPL (Apple Inc.)
- NVDA (NVIDIA Corp.)
- TSLA (Tesla Inc.)
- MSFT (Microsoft Corp.)
- META (Meta Platforms Inc.)
- SPY (SPDR S&P 500 ETF)
- QQQ (Invesco QQQ ETF)
This verification ensures protection against replica token names, helping users easily distinguish official stock derivative tokens from other unofficial products.
Uniswap V2 & V3 Pricing Oracles
To power price-conditioned locks, Locker Protocol's on-chain pricing calculators integrate directly with Uniswap V2 and V3 pools deployed on Robinhood Chain. When setting lock parameters based on asset valuations, the protocol queries these DEX resources dynamically, protecting against gas pricing manipulations or sandwich attacks.
How to get started
Connecting to the new network is simple. Navigate to the Locker Protocol App, open the network selector modal, and click on Robinhood Chain. Your EVM wallet will prompt you to approve the network addition (Chain ID: 4663) and switch automatically.
